blue is in fashion…
i really enjoy browsing through blue is in fashion‘s blog. this is probably one of the FEW sites i’ll visit and force my patience to run dry as all of the images load. (you’ll see why when you visit).
i appreciate their overachiever work of finding the latest styles amongst MANY MAAANYYY fashion blogs out there. and not only do they CREDIT these bloggers with tags, but they also create an INSANE collage of images, each with its own specific trend. now THAT takes time and dedication – props to you blue is in fashion this year!
here are some examples (that i had to crop down) for you… just for taste:
fringe and feathers…
susie bubble shared with us one of her experiences over at the masterclasses at the arts of fashion in philly which ultimately lead to the creation of these two uhhhhh-maaayzing accessories for your everyday pump:
you MUST read her post, i feel the same way =/
flip food for the flip girls + 1 chinagurl + 1 jew LOL
lawn‘s in town again (for 2 weeks this time!).
we decided to rally up the troops and head out for some good filipino food in the city. i haven’t heard of grill 21 before, and usually i’ll just go to turo-turo since that was the only filipino spot i knew of outside of queens, but this one (grill 21) was better than turo-turo in my opinion.
louise and i met up with lawn who was sitting outside with the cutest dog ever, his name was sammy. for a minute i thought lawn had gotten a new dog bahahahaha! turns out it belonged to the owner, who was actually some white dude who knew how to speak tagalog!
- halo halo
- leche flan
- biniguan (not diniguan)
- kare kare
- garlic fried rice
- sisig
- sinigang na baboy
- kerin also came by and ate like a bad jew LOL
- all of us – ew my arm looks FAT
- wendy arrived
- 21st between 1st ave and 2nd ave
- the owner gave lawn this book to read while she waited for us
so if you guys are ever in the mood for decent filipino food (and don’t want to trek all the way over to queens) then get your asses over to grill 21: 346 e 21st st between 1st ave and 2nd ave.
thanks for the top pic wendy! hehe
