my first time at the brooklyn flea market…
yes. i’m a horrible brooklynite for not having been to the brooklyn flea until this past weekend.
the bf and i hopped on our bikes, rode through the park and ended up at the fort greene location (saturdays) a few minutes later. i was quite excited to put my picking hat on =P
….but we were easily distracted by the food booths 0_o nom nom nom! i spend most of my money trying out the different meals they had available!
aside from my hungry tummy, all i have to say is this: the brooklyn flea is definitely a great experience, you won’t find awesome steals (unless you go to my boy alex’s thrifted goods booth where you can buy tons of vintage and dead stock items), mostly everything is typically priced – as if you’re shopping in-store and not at a flea. the assortment of food is a sure shot – but you’ll be shelling out $15 for a lobster roll… and smiling afterwards.
OH! the best part? i got to meet the newest shiao! my friends, amanda and jerry, brought mae, their 8 week old daughter, and her sister luna hahahahhahaa! <3!!!!
i liked the shape of these glasses, but way too big for my face =(
mae and luna!!!!
and because i’m too lazy to insert the rest…..
I went to fort greene one too…ended up spending half my time drooling/stuffing the face/waiting in line. Was an awesome time.
