Winter Survival Kit by Timberland + a Heineken Night Out!

Posted in Events, Friends & Familia, Product Review by yoshi on December 12, 2010

A few nights ago, I had the privilege of hosting a private party at Soho House with my closest friends thanks to Team Epiphany and Heineken as part of their House Beats events! We were served complimentary Heineken Dark Lagers – which, I have to admit, was pretty tasty, very nutty and rich… almost like chocolate!

My friends and I were able to meet the masterminds behind Team Epiphany’s amazing PR and marketing team as well as share a few cheers with the Heineken reps. All in all, it was a fun night and I’d like to thank Soho House for the wonderful hospitality!

Later that night, my former co-worker Emily brought along with her a package that was sent to me from Team Epiphany =)

After I got home, I of course couldn’t wait to find out what was inside the box, and low and behold – my very own winter survival kit provided by Timberland! Jan of Team Epiphany knows exactly what I need to weather the cold winters on the west side during my morning walks to my new office!

I received the Women’s Earthkeepers Mount Holly Duck Boots (retailed at $150), a fur-lined trapper hat, a knitted scarf and finally an exclusive Camelback Timberland insulated water bottle with a built in water filter! Just what I needed! I actually need to start drinking more water… however, I figure it will be best used to store my salted hot chocolate or soy chai lattes (“you fancy huh?” – yes, yes I am!).

And in case you were wondering, YES, yes I actually DO wear all the gifts I’m sent! LMAOSEEEEE???

THANK YOU TEAM EPIPHANY AND TIMBERLAND!!!

I think I kinda need these boots. Winter is killing me. This is coming from a SoCal girl who is experiencing her FIRST Chicago winter. Gah.
